Journey through the musical world...

Lets Have A magical journey through the different eras of music...
Mozart...Beethoven...Chopin...They were once the rulers of the world music..
even our own Salil Chaudhary was inspred by Mozart's compositions and hence, he himself lifted up some segment of his impeccable score in his song, 'Itna Na Tu Mujhse Pyar Badha'...
every child in our neighbourhood used to be fond of the Classic Musical Pieces..
but as it is said that everything has an end, in the same way, these piano concerts gradually saw its demand declining...
and the Guitars came into the limelight.
The famous Duo -->> The EVERLY BROTHERS with their soulful melodies... rocked the world.. and with the word 'rocked'..the first thing strikes my mind is ROCK AND ROLL... a new trend set by the ultimate rock and roll Performer...Elvis Presley... His great number... Love Me tender..though it is been lifted up from the Aura Lee.. but still is a hit on its own right...!!..
The Country Music had its own Speciality..the lucid.. calm words.. and the soft numbers made even the hectic day seem beautiful...
this is what the magic of music is...
The famous country singers are John Denver...Kenny Rogers...Cliff Richard etc... The late 50s saw... certain pop and rock bands emerging... after the trendsetter, Elvis...the rock and roll was no more ROCK n ROLL... it was only ROCK... the bass guitarists...drummers.. heavy metal..and gothic music started ruining people's mind... Music started becoming Noise...
And during this time, even the Rap Songs started getting Acknowledgement... but even after the huge success of the punk and rock bands...
people couldnt forget the slow melodies and that is the reason why...
even then the soft Beatles, Eagles, Michael Bolton, Elton John, Richard Marx, ABBA reigned the hearts of the people...
But the English Music witnessed a complete new trend...
It was the 5-6 member band.. which included 1 chocolate sweet boy... 2 naughty looking lead singers.. 2 Big-Brother kind of and another A tough Guy.. and this was the ultimate combo of new bands..
be it
Backstreet Boyz... Boyzone..Aerosmith...Coldplay...Guns n Roses... They Rocked the charts...
and even the girls were not less in this creative world... the solos included...
Amy Lee..Christina Aguilera...Faith Hill...Celine Dion..Madonna...JLo...SHAKIRA..
n the best all girl band till date.. is no doubt the Spice Girls... And, even the girls went hand in hand with the guys... the famous examples of such bands are... ABBA...VENGABOYS...BONEY M...
But these bands... couldnt survive for a very long period.. hence, they reached their split way very soon...
The largely Acclaimed duo band...WHAM... broke up... and George Michael...recorded few more albums..
but his charm also faded away... music world has witnessed that split ways didnt give rise to new artists...
or rather the artists weren't that successful as their bands...
Another prominent example is... Ronan Keating Of Boyzone...and even Justin Timberlake of N-SYNC...
And, yes not forget the major solo Male Artists in the 80s... Bryan Adams... phew..!!.. what a voice... Rod Stewart...impeccable soulful timber... Marc Anthony...Phil Collins...i may have missed out on few great singers.. but these are the ones who really strick the hardest chords...
Then were the dashing and funky singers... Ricky Martin...Enrique Iglesias...Michael jackson...
But now RAP is the genre that people are dying for... the Artists like Eminem...50 cents...Akon..Daddy Yankee...
they are also Highly acclaimed.. but somehow i still believe that the music is losing its identity somewhere...
The words are getting more importance...i agree that they are a major part of the song... but Music is equally essential...
Hence i still support and love the soft and the classic songs.. rather than tolerating the drums struck as loud as possible...

And, when we see the hindi music industry..the scenario is a completely different one... earlier in the 60s and late 70s... RD Burman's melodious Music..stole everyone's heart.. even the children today chant his compositions.. but the music being composed today..or rather lift ups remixed today..are just shortlived success.. the famous Himesh number... Jhalak Dikhlaja...has totally lost his charm... its just 2-3 months that they top the charts...specially the number of lift ups are increasing like anything... for example to start with..i would love to mention...
the bheegi bheegi si from gangster...its a comlete lift up from a 70s bengali band song Prithibita Naki Chhoto Hote...
though Pritam has agreed to this.. i guess whats the profit in agreeing your flaw again and again...
you copy once u apologise or rather u acclaim that yes i was inspired...and the next time again you copy some other song... whats the matter??
The originality is missing like anything...
they must understand Ruskin Bond's Saying..."ORIGINALITY IS THE ONLY GENUINENESS"
then again the track called Ek din from the film Naqaab..
the intro music is completely taken form mark anthony's When i Dream at night..
then the Anu Malik's song Hai Mera Dil..in the film...JOSH... the stanza is lifted up from the boby vinton song.. Sealed With A Kiss...
so where do we see the music industry is leading to?? everywhere its lifting up something or the other... I guess they will realise this someday or the other.. will wait for that day to arrive soon...
Happy listening to music...!!.. Enjoy...!!...
